Deputy Prime Minister Gjeloshaj meets with Czech Minister of Transport Martin Kupka

Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Policy Nik Gjeloshaj met today with Minister of Transport of the Czech Republic Martin Kupka, who is paying an official visit to Montenegro.

Deputy Prime Minister Gjeloshaj warmly welcomed the Czech delegation and highlighted the close cooperation between the two countries. He expressed his gratitude for the support the Czech Republic has provided in Montenegro’s European integration process.

The Government of Montenegro is fully committed to the European agenda, and we are eager to enhance our collaboration in all relevant areas, particularly in the economy and infrastructure, said Deputy Prime Minister Gjeloshaj.

He added, "Investments from EU countries like the Czech Republic are of special interest to Montenegro, not only for our economic development but also for the values they promote. The Government of Montenegro will be a sincere partner and friend to all credible Czech investors."

Minister Kupka acknowledged Montenegro's dedication to reforms and its Euro-Atlantic course, emphasising that Montenegro has the full support of the Czech Republic in its European integration processes.

The discussion also covered potential cooperation and investment opportunities in various sectors of the Montenegrin economy, such as infrastructure and green energy.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both parties reaffirmed the strong relations between Montenegro and the Czech Republic and agreed to continue their cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
