DPM Aleksić pays an official visit to Belgrade

Deputy Prime Minister for Education, Science, and Religious Affairs Budimir Aleksić is paying an official visit to the Republic of Serbia, where he met with Minister of Culture of Serbia Nikola Selaković.

During the meeting held at the Ministry of Culture in Belgrade, both sides emphasised their readiness to enhance bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest. In a substantive and constructive discussion, both parties expressed their openness to strengthening ties in the fields of culture, education, science, and religious communities, recognising the cultural and spiritual connections, as well as the traditionally close relations between the two countries.

Deputy Prime Minister Aleksić thanked his host, Minister Selaković, for the warm reception and the open and productive discussion about opportunities for cooperation in science, arts, culture, and education.

Aleksić highlighted that both countries share the same cultural tradition, shaped for centuries by the Orthodox Christian faith, and that their entire cultural and creative heritage has unfolded in the Serbian language.

With this in mind, he underscored the importance of agreements on cooperation modalities in the coming period, stressing that he, as Deputy Prime Minister, along with the entire Montenegrin government, will work towards restoring relations between the two nations to their natural and normal course.
