DPM Bečić congratulates Montenegro's youth football team on Under-19 EURO qualification

Deputy Prime Minister Aleksa Bečić has extended his congratulations to our national youth football team for securing a place in the 2025 UEFA European Under-19 Championship. 

Montenegro’s youth team has written a historic chapter in Montenegrin football. For the first time ever, a Montenegrin national team has qualified for a major football tournament!   

With outstanding victories over Georgia and Poland, and unwavering resilience against Slovakia, our young Falcons have demonstrated character, talent, and fearlessness worthy of the best. 

This summer, you will rightfully compete among the eight strongest teams in Europe. As always, wear the Montenegrin jersey with courage and make us proud once again! 

Congratulations to the future of Montenegrin football—Montenegro stands with you!
