DPM Budimir Aleksić meets with delegation of the Jewish Community of Montenegro

Deputy Prime Minister for Education, Science, and Relations with Religious Communities Budimir Aleksić met with a delegation of the Jewish Community of Montenegro. 

During discussions with the President of the Jewish Community, Nina Ofner Bokan, it was concluded that the construction of Montenegro’s first and only Jewish Cultural Center and Synagogue is a project of public significance for the country. Additionally, it represents a strong step toward further strengthening the friendly relations between Montenegro and Israel. 

President Ofner Bokan informed Deputy Prime Minister Aleksić about the progress of the construction and the challenges faced, primarily concerning financial constraints.
