DPM Ibrahimović meets EBRD Head of Montenegro Remon Zakaria
Deputy Prime Minister for Regional Development and Minister of Capital Investments Ervin Ibrahimović and State Secretary in the Ministry of Capital Investments Admir Šahmanović met with Head of Montenegro for the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) Remon Zakaria and his associates.
Montenegro is strongly striving to achieve better results in economic policy. It has a good development perspective and fantastic opportunities for further investments, which will be supported by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development as one of the key strategic partners of the Government of Montenegro.
Strengthening competitiveness by improving private sector capacity and improving the business environment, deepening the transition to a green economy in Montenegro through cleaner energy and more sustainable services at the local level as well as supporting further connectivity and integration through cross-border transport, energy and digital connections are strategic goals envisaged by the EBRD Strategy for Montenegro, said EBRD Head of Montenegro Zakaria.
Zakaria praised Montenegro's commitment to European path. We are here to help, to invest in the region, to bring it closer as much as possible, he pointed out.
The Minister of Capital Investments expressed satisfaction with the current cooperation with the EBRD, which proved to be positive and stimulating for the overall Montenegrin development and progress.
