An interested party can apply through the relevant diplomatic-consular office for documents from the civil registry services from Montenegro (Extracts from the records of births, marriages, and deaths (BRC, MRV, MRU) and Certificates of Montenegrin citizenship). With a properly completed application for consular services and providing the necessary data, the individual must explain the purpose for which they will use the specific document. The completed application is forwarded to the competent authority in Montenegro, which will return the requested Extract to the diplomatic-consular office for delivery to the party.
