Fourth Regional Cyber Security Conference

The fourth regional Cyber Security Conference, organized by NGO Secure and co-organized by the Ministry of Public Administration, will be held at the CUE Hotel in Podgorica on 11 December 2023.

The central theme of the conference is “Secure Critical Infrastructure – One Step Ahead of Cyber Threats”.

The Minister of Public Administration Marash Dukaj will open the Conference, and in the opening part of the conference the officials of international organizations in Montenegro, Ambassador of the USA Judy Rising Reinke, Ambassador of Italy Andreina Marsella and Ambassador of France Anne-Marie Maskay will address the attendees, as well.  

The fourth regional Cyber Security Conference will bring together around 200 participants from Montenegro, the region and Europe, officials of ministries, the Government of Montenegro and its institutions, embassies of the NATO and EU countries, providers of telecommunications and internet services, financial institutions (banks, insurance companies), international organizations, missions, and cyber security experts from Montenegro and NATO member states.

The goal of the Cyber Security Conference is to provide insight into establishing, maintaining and improving information security and data protection in institutions and corporations, through informing and education on manners of prevention, disclosing, defence, as well as recovering from cyber-attack.  The Conference is also focused on the protection of information systems against cyber-attacks, presentation of the most common risks and threats of intrusion into information systems, ways to overcome such risks and establish information security, as well as methods for maintaining secrecy and security of information and solutions confirmed practice regarding cyber security, based on NATO principles for sustainable cyber security.

Experts in the cyber security area from Montenegro, Europe and world will speak about the latest challenges, threats and manners in which cyber-attacks may be performed in all business systems, about roles, responsibilities and achievements of governments and government institutions in establishing a cyber secure environment, about the importance and manners of strengthening the national cyber security through international cooperation, as well as contemporary solutions in order to ensure protection against cyber-attacks and hybrid threats.

The Conference is organized by NGO Secure and co-organized by the Ministry of Public Administration, under the organizational support of the Vision Event agency.
