In order to ensure the functionality of the Municipality of Budva, the Government of Montenegro, at a telephone session, decided to reschedule the session of the newly elected Municipal Assembly of Budva—originally set for 11 February—to 3 February 2025 at 3 p.m.

The Government of Montenegro had previously, on 27 January 2025, adopted an Information on the situation in the Municipal Assembly of Budva regarding the convening of its first session, in accordance with Article 39 of the Law on local self-government.

Based on this information, the Government initially decided to convene the first session of the newly elected Municipal Assembly of Budva with a single agenda item—the election of the President of the Assembly—for 11 February 2025 at 9 a.m.

However, in order to ensure the proper functioning of the Municipality of Budva, at a telephone session held on 1 February, the Government adopted a decision to amend Conclusion No. 10-018/25-232/2, dated 27 January 2025. As a result, the session of the newly elected Municipal Assembly of Budva will now be held on 3 February 2025 at 3 p.m., with the sole agenda item being the election of the President of the Municipal Assembly of Budva.
