Hungary donates over 10,000 PCR tests to Montenegro
Minister of Health Jelena Borovinić Bojović received today a donation from the Embassy of Hungary of over 10,000 PCR tests, which are used to show the presence of the COVID-19 virus.
Ambassador of Hungary to Montenegro Négyesi József handed over the donation to Health Minister Borovinić Bojović.
The Minister of Health pointed out that Hungary, as many times before, showed high-level solidarity this time as well, which once again confirmed the traditionally friendly relations between the two countries.
"Today, 10,088 PCR tests, donated by Hungary, arrived. I want to thank Hungary, as well as all its citizens, the Government and especially Mr. Ambassador," said the Minister of Health.
Ambassador Négyesi reiterated that relations between Hungary and Montenegro are friendly and sincere.
"Hungary views Montenegro as a friendly country, a strategic partner and ally in NATO. Hungary is not a great power, but we know what it means to help and what it means to get support and help," said the Hungarian Ambassador and reminded that Hungary donated medical protective equipment to Montenegro in May last year.
"Two days ago, the Hungarian Government decided to donate 10,000 PCR tests to Montenegro, and we are ready to provide our air cargo capacities for the transport of vaccines from China to Montenegro," Ambassador Négyesi emphasised.
