Ivanović, Pashinyan: Montenegro supports Armenia's reform efforts and European path

Deputy Prime Minister for Foreign and European Affairs Filip Ivanović met today with Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan to discuss key political and economic issues, with a particular focus on reform processes and Armenia’s European perspective.

Prime Minister Pashinyan reiterated Armenia’s commitment to the European path and its reform agenda while expressing interest in Montenegro’s experiences. Deputy Prime Minister Ivanović briefed Prime Minister Pashinyan on Montenegro’s key steps in the European integration process, emphasizing that the upcoming period would bring significant milestones, including the holding of an Intergovernmental Conference with the European Union, which is expected to confirm new achievements for Montenegro.

Prime Minister Pashinyan acknowledged Montenegro’s progress and noted that its future EU membership would serve as a stabilizing factor for the entire region. Ivanović commended Armenia’s efforts and progress on its European path and expressed Montenegro’s readiness to share its negotiation expertise and experiences.

In addition to bilateral cooperation discussions, Ivanović and Pashinyan exchanged views on global developments and regional challenges. The two leaders agreed that this visit would further strengthen the partnership and open new areas for joint cooperation.
