Ivica Janović appointed Acting Director of the National Security Agency; Milić continues service in the institution

At its session held on 12 December 2024, the Montenegrin Cabinet accepted the resignation of Boris Milić as Director of the National Security Agency and appointed Ivica Janović as Acting Director.

Milić, who has served in the security sector for over 30 years, will continue contributing to the agency in a different capacity.

He was initially appointed Acting Director of the Agency on 8 October 2022 before officially assuming the full mandate on 18 May 2023.

The Government of Montenegro expressed gratitude to the outgoing director for his collaboration and professional leadership during his tenure at the helm of the agency.
