Minister of Maritime Affairs Talks with Representatives of the Association of Captains
Minister of Maritime Affairs Filip Radulović met with representatives of the Association of Captains, where key issues in the maritime sector were discussed, along with proposed potential solutions.
During the conversation, emphasis was placed on the need for changes to legal frameworks in order to improve the position of seafarers, increase safety in maritime traffic, and further strengthen the competitiveness of the domestic maritime industry.
Minister Radulović informed the representatives of the Association of Captains of Montenegro that the drafting of the draft law on navigation safety is nearing completion, which will address many of the issues burdening the maritime sector.
The Minister highlighted the Ministry's readiness to actively cooperate with professional associations and experts, emphasizing the importance of open dialogue to resolve accumulated challenges.
The representatives of the Association of Captains expressed satisfaction with the initiatives that have been launched and proposed concrete measures that could contribute to the improvement of regulations and practices in the sector.
