PMQs - PM Krivokapić: Only hard work can change Montenegro
Prime Minister Zdravko Krivokapić, answering the question of Ivan Brajović from the MP Group "Social Democrats of Montenegro", said that, while he was engaged in scientific work, the SD MP was engaged in politics, and that he held various positions.
You were the Speaker of this Parliament when the most shameful scenario in the history of Montenegro happened. And that is the Law on Freedom of Religion. I accepted to defend the church and that is why I led the coalition "For the Future of Montenegro". As I said, I did not betray that idea, I am not involved in politics, said Prime Minister Krivokapić.
The Prime Minister reiterated that he was not interested in politics, that he wants better standard of living, adding that Montenegro records increase in economic growth.
Speaking about the motorway, Prime Minister Krivokapić pointed out that in the interviews he gave to the Western media he spoke about three omissions. That is the cost of a kilometer of our motorway. For the same road, with the same number of tunnels and bridges from the same company, in Serbia, the difference is nine million per kilometer. 25 million, one kilometer of motorway does not cost that much even in Japan. No one can say that this does not look like some kind of corruption. Whether that will be proven, time will tell. What has been done in 7 years? Why don't we have a project at least from Mateševo to Andrijevica, the Prime Minister said.
I have said countless times that I will not resign. I said, I will not file a motion of no confidence. I guess that's the task of MPs?! Why would I do your job? Raise your hands, take a vote of no confidence against this Government. I have nothing against that, said Prime Minister Krivokapić.
