Prime Minister Milojko Spajić has arrived in the Kingdom of Bahrain for his first official working visit, where he will meet with Bahrain’s Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Sheikh Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa.

During his visit, Prime Minister Spajić will also engage with representatives of Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, where he will showcase Montenegro’s investment potential and explore opportunities for closer economic cooperation between the two countries.

A key outcome of this visit will be the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between Montenegro’s Ministry of Education, Science, and Innovation and Bahrain’s Labour Fund (Tamkeen), focusing on collaboration in science, innovation, and technology.

Tamkeen is a prominent Bahraini institution known for its support to small and medium-sized enterprises, business plan development, market adaptation, workforce retraining, and boosting the presence and competitiveness of Bahraini businesses in regional and global markets.

As this is the first high-level visit since diplomatic relations were established, it also presents an opportunity to strengthen political dialogue between Montenegro and Bahrain.

Prime Minister Spajić was welcomed in Manama this morning by a member of the royal family, His Highness Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, as well as the Minister of Cabinet Affairs and Deputy Chairman of Tamkeen, His Excellency Hamad bin Faisal Al Malki, along with other officials.
