Public consultations on the Criminal Code and the Law on Weapons and Ammunition

The Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Interior have launched public consultations on the Draft Law on amendments to the Criminal Code of Montenegro and the Law on Weapons and Ammunition (Marko and Mašan Law), which will remain open until 12 February and 24 February 2025, respectively.

We invite citizens, experts, academic and professional communities, state authorities, political entities, non-governmental organizations, international organizations, media, and all interested stakeholders to participate and contribute to improving these key legislative areas.

Suggestions, comments, and feedback on the proposed amendments to the Criminal Code can be submitted to the Ministry of Justice at: Vuka Karadžića 3, Podgorica, or via email at: ana.cubranovic@mpa.gov.me. Suggestions, comments, and feedback on the proposed Law on Weapons and Ammunition can be submitted to the Ministry of Interior at: Bulevar Svetog Petra Cetinjskog 22, Podgorica, or via email at: upravno.mup@mup.gov.me.
