Radulović to participate in extraordinary meeting of NATO Ministers of Foreign Affairs

Minister of Foreign Affairs Đorđe Radulović will take part in an extraordinary meeting of the North Atlantic Council (NAC) at the level of Ministers of Foreign Affairs at the NATO Headquarters on Friday, 4 March. The meeting will discuss the war in Ukraine. On that occasion, it is planned to discuss the most important issues related to the Russian military aggression against Ukraine, without precedent, the consequences for Euro-Atlantic security and agree on the next steps in order to protect the security of allies and strengthen the Alliance's deterrence and defence policy.

The extraordinary meeting in Brussels will be an opportunity for the Foreign Minister to emphasise that Montenegro consistently follows the European Union's Common Foreign and Security Policy and joins all EU restrictive measures against Russia, and reiterate Montenegro's support for preserving Ukraine's independence, territorial integrity and sovereignty, while calling on Russia to immediately end its military attack and withdraw its forces.
