REGIONAL WORKSHOP ON THE AGREEMENT ON TRADE-RELATED ASPECTS OF INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS (TRIPS) FOR CENTRAL AND EASTERN EUROPE, CENTRAL ASIA, AND CAUCASUS (CEECAC) MEMBERS AND OBSERVERS

The Secretariat of the World Trade Organization (WTO) in collaboration with the Joint Vienna Institute (JVI) is organizing a Regional Workshop on the WTO Agreement on Trade-Related Aspects of Intellectual Property Rights (TRIPS) and contemporary policy issues for Central and Eastern Europe, Central Asia, and Caucasus (CEECAC) Members and Observers to be held in Vienna (Austria), from 12 to 15 November 2024. Members are invited to submit up to four nominations of capital-based officials.

Only civil servants who satisfy the requirements stipulated in the invitation letter will be considered in the selection process by the WTO Secretariat.

The application process consists of the following steps:

1. Interested candidates need to complete and submit the online application form, which is available at: https://wto.formstack.com/forms/2024_trips_policy_issues_workshop_for_ceecac_members_and_observers_application_form, with a note that in addition to the form, it is necessary to submit other supporting documents through the online system.

2. Interested candidates (civil servants of Montenegro) who meet the requirements outlined in the invitation letter, and after completing the online application, they should also send the application with accompanying documents (CV, a copy of passport and a letter of support from the nominating national authority) to the Ministry of Economic Development. These should be send to the following e-mail addresses: aida.salagic@mek.gov.me i nikoleta.milutinovic@mek.gov.me, no later than 3 September 2024.  and that at the latest, by 9 September 2024. the documentation would be submitted through official diplomatic channels.
