Representatives of the world's largest tourism company in Montenegro on Monday

Prime Minister Milojko Spajić, on the sidelines of the Economic Forum in Berlin, met with some of the most prominent German businesspeople and presented the potentials of Montenegro.

Tourism, as the most important economic sector, was highlighted as an opportunity for much stronger cooperation between Montenegro and Germany, which will be promptly worked on. In this context, promotion is extremely important, and representatives of Germany's TUI, the world's largest tourism company, will be in Montenegro from Monday to get acquainted with the tourist offerings.

During the meeting, it was noted that there is much room for strengthening economic cooperation.

Montenegro is the next member of the European Union, uses the EURO, is part of NATO, and has excellent natural and human resources, making it an attractive choice for credible investors, stated Prime Minister Spajić. He explained that the Government prefers the arrival of companies that want to create new jobs and stay in Montenegro for the long term.

There was also discussion about the energy potential as the best opportunity for economic development, not only for Montenegro but for the entire region.

Production from renewable energy sources, with guaranteed stability and a great geographical position, offers Montenegro an ideal opportunity to position itself as an important partner to EU countries in this area.

Prime Minister Milojko Spajić took part in the two-day conference, organised by the Economic Council of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU) of Germany. The conference was attended by top German officials, leaders of the largest German and international companies, eminent experts, analysts, and professors.
