Strong condemnation of the attack on former US President Donald Trump

The attack on former US President and presidential candidate Donald Trump during yesterday's rally in Pennsylvania deserves the strongest condemnation.

Violence must never be a means of expressing political or any other dissatisfaction and can never be justified.

I express deep regret over this unfortunate event and hope that we never witness anything similar again. I wish a speedy recovery to Mr. Trump and all those injured in this attack.
