Strong interest from Israeli companies in investments and tourists coming to Montenegro

Prime Minister Milojko Spajić welcomed the newly appointed non-resident Ambassador of Israel to Montenegro Avivit Bar-Ilan.

During the meeting, the Prime Minister wished the Ambassador a warm welcome and expressed expectations for the continuation of strong bilateral relations between Montenegro and Israel.

The discussion highlighted excellent cooperation in the fields of economy and investment, noting the growing interest from Israeli companies in investing and their increasing presence in Montenegro.

Additionally, there is significant interest from Israeli tourists in visiting Montenegro, facilitated by established flight routes from Tel Aviv to Podgorica and Tivat.

In the conversation, the Prime Minister reiterated Montenegro's support for a commitment to finding a political and diplomatic solution based on a two-state model as the only sustainable and lasting resolution to the crisis in the Middle East.

It was concluded that further efforts are needed to finalize several initiatives for bilateral agreements, particularly in the areas of tourism, economic cooperation, environmental protection, and agriculture.
