Tangible results in the fight against high-level corruption

Minister without Portfolio Zoran Miljanić met with Ambassador of the Republic of North Macedonia to Montenegro Mihajlo Trpkoski. The officials exchanged views on the results that Montenegro and the Republic of North Macedonia are achieving in the fight against organised crime and high-level corruption.

Miljanić pointed out the similarities in the challenges facing the two countries when it comes to problems in the judiciary and overcoming these problems, pointing to the visible results achieved in Montenegro in recent months. Ambassador Trpkoski spoke about the importance of results in the process of European integration and said that Montenegro's experience can be valuable for the Republic of North Macedonia.

Furthermore, they talked about enhancing economic cooperation. The two officials agreed that it would be necessary to introduce a flight between Podgorica and Skopje.

Ambassador Trpkoski expressed special gratitude to Minister Milljanić for his personal commitment and contribution to establishing cooperation between the institutions of Montenegro and the Republic of North Macedonia.
