WTO ADVANCED GLOBAL WORKSHOP ON THE AGREEMENT ON GOVERNMENT PROCUREMENT (GPA) 2012

The Secretariat of the World Trade Organization (WTO) is organizing the WTO Advanced Global Workshop on the Agreement on Government Procurement (GPA) 2012 to be held in Geneva, Switzerland, from 28 April to 2 May 2025. The purpose of the Workshop is to share perspectives and build participants' knowledge and skills relating to the interface of government procurement, international trade, development and good governance with a specific focus on the GPA 2012. Members may nominate up three officials.

Only civil servants who satisfy the requirements stipulated in the invitation letter will be considered in the selection process by the WTO Secretariat.

The application process consists of the following steps:

1. Interested candidates need to complete and submit the online application form, which is available at: https://wto.formstack.com/forms/2025_advanced_global_workshop_gpa.  

2. The online application form requires uploading a scanned copy of the passport and of the official nomination letter, signed and stamped by the competent government authority that is nominating the candidate. Interested candidates (civil servants of Montenegro) who meet the requirements outlined in the invitation letter, are invited to submit applications along with accompanying documents (CV and a copy of passport) to the Ministry of Economic Development. These should be send to the following e-mail addresses: aida.salagic@mek.gov.me i nikoleta.milutinovic@mek.gov.me, no later than 26 February 2025.

3. The application form, including the passport and nomination letter, should be submitted via the online application system no later than 3 March 2025.

4. The application form must be completed and signed by the candidate as well as by the nominating authority which presents the candidate, as well as stamped, and submitted to the Institute for Training and Technical Cooperation of the WTO (through the Mission in Geneva) no later than 3 March 2025.
