Fourth Session of the National Security Council Was Held

During the session of the National Security Council, chaired by the Prime Minister and Council President, Milo Đukanović, reports from the third and fourth sessions of the Bureau for Operational Coordination and harmonization of the work of the bodies constituting the intelligence and security sector were considered.

The Council analyzed a current security situation in the context of the latest developments in the region and possible challenges to security of Montenegro, and emphasized the significance of institutional cooperation being of crucial importance from the aspect of the rule of law and keeping a security situation stable.

Head of the Bureau for Operational Coordination of security services informed the Council that concrete plans and recommendations of competent institutions were provided as professional response to security challenges.

The Council also considered other issues from its competence.
