Minister of Human and Minority Rights Fatmir Gjeka welcomed the attendees, pointing out that it is always nice to be part of an activity that is for the benefit of the children. Gjeka said that children are our biggest concern and responsibility and that they are tomorrow what we are today.

In his speech,  Minister reiterated that in school after the family, children learn about rights and obligations, respect for the rights of others, tolerance, the richness of the cultures and nations among whom they live.

Gjeka used the opportunity to thank everyone especially the former students of the school from the diaspora, who are directly responsible for the fact that from today this educational institution is a part of the community of  Gusinje and its future generations.

Minister congratulated the locals on the new school and wished the newly elected director Luan Kukaj and the students successful work.

At the openning ceremony Kole Camaj, on behalf of the diaspora association and Safet Kalač, on behalf of the Ministry of education, addressed the audience as well.
