Abazović attends reception on the occasion of the birthday of Queen Elizabeth II

Deputy Prime Minister Dritan Abazović visited tonight the frigate of the Royal Navy HMS Richmond, which has been in the Port of Bar since Saturday morning.

DPM Abazović, together with Annabel Goldie, the Minister of State at the Ministry of Defence of the United Kingdom, Captain Hugh Botterill, and the British Ambassador Karen Maddocks, attended the reception which was organised on the occasion of the birthday of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

The Royal Navy, as part of the Mediterranean Carrier Strike Group, is staying in Bar with the aim of deepening cooperation between the two Allies. The visit is also an opportunity to further develop bilateral cooperation between Montenegro and the United Kingdom, but also to promote Montenegro as a safe tourist destination in the Mediterranean.
