Abazović congratulates Štironja on his enthronement as Bishop of Kotor

Deputy Prime Minister Dritan Abazović sent a congratulatory message on the occasion of the enthronement of Monsignor Ivan Štironja as the Bishop of Kotor.

"I was pleased to receive the news of your enthronement as Bishop of Kotor. I am sure that your human and Christian efforts to strengthen community will benefit all believers and the church. I believe that the common interest of all well-meaning people in Montenegro is to build a community of peace, tolerance and prosperity, a society that will respect centuries of coexistence as one of the greatest values of modern Montenegro," said DPM Abazović.

Deputy Prime Minister Abazović pointed out that undoubtedly all public officials have equal importance and responsibility in preserving multiethnic and multi-confessional harmony, and that in that context he appreciates Monsignor Štironja's contribution to building the society we strive for together.

"On this occasion, I would like to congratulate you on your enthronement and wish you success in performing your new duty," the Deputy Prime Minister concluded.
