Abazović: Everyone should contribute to a better media environment

The state's priority is to solve the murder of Duško Jovanović, but also other cases of attacks on journalists, such as the attack on the Vijesti editorial office and other journalists and investigative journalists. Everyone should contribute to a better media environment. The Office of the Deputy Prime Minister, in accordance with its competencies, contributes to resolving the large-scale attacks on journalists, said Deputy Prime Minister Dritan Abazović on the occasion of 23 January, the Day of Journalists of Montenegro.

Media freedom is a clear indicator of the democratic progress of a society. The media in today's Montenegro are a ubiquitous factor of social reality that informs the public about all events, educates and points out problems and socio-political anomalies, thus significantly shaping public opinion, so their role is very important and responsible. Therefore, we congratulate them on the Day of Journalists of Montenegro.
