Abazović meets Chairman of BiH Council of Ministers in Ohrid
Prime Minister Dritan Abazović met with Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina Zoran Tegeltija on the sidelines of the Open Balkan Summit in Ohrid, where the two countries are participating as observers.
Prime Minister Abazović stressed that he was glad that this Initiative was supported by the USA and the EU, the two most important foreign policy partners of Montenegro.
I am convinced that the meetings in Ohrid will help the countries of the Western Balkans to move closer to the European Union and find a common language on how to promote political and economic dialogue. Montenegro, as a leader in the EU integration process, is ready to make additional efforts to be an example to everyone else in the region, said PM Abazović.
The Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina pointed out that the two countries cherish friendly relations and that there are no open issues. He emphasised the importance of further economic cooperation, especially in the energy sector.
The officials agreed that relations between Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina are friendly, strengthened by common foreign policy priorities in terms of regional cooperation and EU integration.
