DPM Abazović meets with US Congresswoman Elissa Slotkin: The region needs fresh energy, more justice and braver decisions

Deputy Prime Minister Dritan Abazović met today with US Congresswoman Elissa Slotkin in Tirana.

The meeting discussed the political situation in the Western Balkans, as well as the modalities for tackling problems. Special emphasis was placed on combating the influence of corrupt elites who pose a broader security threat.

Representative Elissa Slotkin serves Michigan's 8th Congressional District. Rep. Slotkin has spent her career in national service.

The region needs fresh energy, more justice and braver decisions from our leaders. Great meeting with Congresswoman Elissa Slotkin in Tirana. Looking forward to continued engagement between the United States and the Balkans, Abazović tweeted.
