DPM Zogović meets with representatives of France's largest employers' federation – MEDEF

Deputy Prime Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development Milun Zogović met today with representatives of MEDEF, the largest network of French companies. The delegation was led by CEO of MEDEF International Philippe Gautier, alongside the French Ambassador to Montenegro Anne-Marie Maskay.

At the beginning of the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Zogović expressed his satisfaction in hosting representatives of some of France’s most successful companies. He emphasized Montenegro’s commitment to strengthening ties with France and creating new business and investment opportunities.

It is an honor to address French entrepreneurs from various key sectors such as energy efficiency, wastewater treatment, construction, aviation and rail transport, banking, and consulting. Each of these areas plays a crucial role in our efforts to develop a sustainable and competitive economic model. French companies are welcome in Montenegro, as their presence not only enhances the economic environment but also sends a strong message of stability and an attractive investment climate. The construction sector is currently experiencing significant growth, and we are fully committed to developing modern and environmentally friendly infrastructure solutions. Through major infrastructure projects, our goal is to improve the quality of life across different regions and promote balanced regional development. I am pleased to say that we have already made significant progress in improving the business climate, reflected in better access to financing and a favourable environment for investment across all sectors. Our dedication to regional development, energy efficiency, innovation in the construction industry, and, most importantly, infrastructure improvement remains unwavering. Together, we can explore new opportunities for both markets and establish long-term cooperation, he said.

In his address, Deputy Prime Minister Zogović highlighted Montenegro’s pride in being recognized as a stable framework for foreign investment. He acknowledged France as one of Montenegro’s most important partners in the country’s EU integration process and expressed his hope for expanding cooperation in the future, particularly in sectors critical for economic growth.
