Enhancing cooperation between Montenegro and the UAE - New projects for the future and dynamic development of our country
Prime Minister Spajić meets with UAE President
I am confident that you are leading Montenegro in its best interest. On your country’s path to further development, you have my full trust and support, said the President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, during his meeting with Prime Minister Milojko Spajić, who is paying an official visit to Abu Dhabi.
Strengthening economic ties and enhancing bilateral relations were the main topics of the meeting, with both sides agreeing that there is significant potential for intensified cooperation. Special focus was placed on key development opportunities, including tourism, renewable energy, infrastructure, and high technology, aiming to foster sustainable economic growth in both countries.
As the next step, a series of technical meetings are planned with UAE government officials and business leaders to define projects of mutual interest.
Sheikh Mohamed emphasized the importance of joint investments, stating that successful partnerships strengthen bilateral relations and bring people closer together. He highlighted Montenegro’s stable political climate and an improving business environment as key factors in attracting investment.

The UAE is keen to strengthen partnerships with countries in the region, and Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan reaffirmed his country’s support for initiatives that promote peace, stability and prosperity in Montenegro and neighbouring countries.
