Gjeloshaj: Montenegro and Albania foster close cooperation and share common Euro-Atlantic values

Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Policy and Minister of Economic Development Nik Gjeloshaj, together with Minister of Public Administration Marash Dukaj, met with the President of the Republic of Albania, H.E. Bajram Begaj.

On this occasion, Deputy Prime Minister Gjeloshaj expressed his satisfaction with President Begaj’s visit, emphasizing that Montenegro and Albania, as neighbouring and friendly countries, maintain close cooperation and share common values and commitment to Euro-Atlantic integration.

During the meeting, discussions focused on strengthening cooperation across all relevant sectors, with particular attention to economic relations and the European integration process. Special emphasis was placed on enhancing trade exchange and infrastructure connectivity as key drivers of economic development.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides reaffirmed the strong bilateral ties between the two countries and expressed their readiness to further collaborate in areas of mutual interest. This meeting further confirmed the commitment of both parties to strengthening political and economic relations, while continuing dialogue at the highest level.
