Gjeloshaj, Reinke: Economic dialogue as a testament to our strong economic and partnership ties

Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Policy and Minister of Economic Development Nik Gjeloshaj met with the US Ambassador to Montenegro, H.E. Judy Rising Reinke.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economic Development Gjeloshaj briefed the Ambassador on the work of the Ministry of Economic Development concerning Montenegro’s European integration, particularly with regard to the legislative and administrative requirements for closing Chapters 7, 10, and 20.

Gjeloshaj emphasised the importance of the excellent relations between Montenegro and the United States.

The US is our main ally, and through mutual cooperation and American expertise in the fields of economy, trade, investment, and development projects, our country receives significant support. This extends to further deepening cooperation with US companies operating in Montenegro and potential interested companies, which can serve as examples for small and medium-sized enterprises on how to increase their production and development levels, added Deputy Prime Minister Gjeloshaj.

We are further strengthening our partnership by intensifying cooperation in the economic sphere, and the Economic Dialogue is a testament to our strong economic and partnership ties, concluded Deputy Prime Minister Gjeloshaj.
