Minister Dukaj meets US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Gabriel Escobar

Minister of Public Administration Marash Dukaj met US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs and Special Representative to the Western Balkans Gabriel Escobar.

The officials reiterated Montenegro's firm commitment to the European and Euro-Atlantic path and values, and exchanged information and opinions on the political, security and economic situation in the Western Balkans.

US Deputy Assistant Secretary Escobar emphasised the clear and unequivocal support of the USA for Montenegro's European integration process.

Furthermore, the officils discussed ways to reduce the impact of cyber attacks that Montenegro was exposed to.

Escobar expressed readiness of the USA to provide expert support and assistance to Montenegro in reducing the negative impact and creating a normative framework and institutional infrastructure for the prevention of such attacks and strengthening the cyber security system of Montenegro.
