Montenegro and Azerbaijan agree to establish Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation

‎Prime Minister Dritan Abazović‎ met Prime Minister of Azerbaijan ‎‎Ali Asadov in Baku‎‎. ‎

‎At the beginning of the meeting, Asadov used the opportunity to extend congratulations on the Statehood Day of Montenegro – 13 July.‎

‎The meeting noted that the two countries had an intensive political dialogue in the past few years, expressing interest in strengthening cooperation in economy, energy and tourism.

‎Abazović and Asadov agreed to establish an Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation, which will consist of representatives of the Governments of Montenegro and the Government of Azerbaijan.‎

‎The two officials also discussed the air connectivity between two countries.
