PM Abazović meets Ambassador of Ukraine

Prime Minister Dritan Abazović met today with the Ambassador of Ukraine to Montenegro, H. E. Oleh Harasymenko.

PM Abazović pointed out that Montenegro demonstrated its clear position on Russia's agression towards Ukraine and opened doors for Ukrainian refugees. Abazović said that Montenegro condems annexation referendums, stressing that Montenegrin Government will not recognise the results  of these refendums. Furthermore, he said that Montenegro is ready to consider the possibilities of providing additional assistance to Ukraine. He stressed the possibility of using a part of the capacity of the Port of Bar for the transit of food and wheat from Ukraine.

Ambassador Harasymenko thanked Prime Minister Abazović for his clear and unequivocal support and for not recognising referendums. He assessed that the international community must strongly condemn nuclear threats.
