Published on: May 1, 2022 10:45 AM Author: Office of the Prime Minister

The Government is committed to affirming workers' rights, improving working conditions, protecting dignity, creating conditions for increasing salaries, but also the pensions of former workers who built Montenegro. We want to improve the business environment with new investments, especially healthy economic projects based on sustainability and "green" policy, said Prime Minister Dritan Abazović on the occasion of 1 May, International Workers' Day.

Prime Minister Abazović pointed out that the symbolism of 1 May obliges us to make additional efforts to improve the conditions in which business activities take place, protect the dignity of everyone involved in the work process, but also to show respect for workers who contributed to Montenegro's development.

The Government's goal is, despite the global crisis, to launch a stronger and more concrete investment process aimed at real diversification of our economy and economic prosperity of Montenegro, the Prime Minister concluded.
