Prime Minister Zdravko Krivokapić attended the Christmas Midnight Mass in the co-cathedral of Saint Peter the Apostle in Bar.

President of the Parliament of Montenegro Aleksa Bečić, State Secretary in the Ministry of Justice, Human and Minority Rights Bojan Božović and President of the Municipality of Bar Dušan Raičević also attended the Mass.

The Holy Mass was served by the Archbishop of Bar, Monsignor Rrok Gjonlleshaj.

Earlier, in his congratulatory message to the clergy and the people of faith, who celebrate Christmas according to the Gregorian calendar, the Prime Minister said that the messages that the most joyful Christian holiday brings are essential.

Love and respect for others are born. Kindness, peace and understanding are acquired and preserved through hard work. All of us must ask ourselves certain questions every day - how responsible are we, how much solidarity do we show and how grateful are we. Christmas reminds us and encourages us to go beyond civic correctness and raise its standards, by personal example, as much as possible. Christmas invites us to be better, more tolerant, more honest, selfless and righteous. Such people are capable of creating a spirit of prosperity. Hoping that Montenegro will become such a community, I wish all those who celebrate Christmas according to the Gregorian calendar to spend the upcoming days in joy, peace, love and prayer with their families and friends, the Prime Minister's message reads.
