We are proud that this year’s European Commission Report on Montenegro recognises the efforts of the current Government and system institutions in accelerating the EU accession process, with measurable progress in key reforms in Chapters 23 and 24. The Government remains committed to fulfilling the prerequisites for Montenegro’s full membership in the European Union, as we prepare for the next Intergovernmental Conference and the closing of several negotiation chapters.
