Press release on Proposal of Decision on Amendments to Decision on Criteria for Determining Conditions for Acquiring Montenegrin Citizenship by Admission

Regarding the disinformation that appeared in the public, as a means of sabotaging the work of the Government and disturbing the peace in the country, we inform the public that the Proposal of the Decision on Amendments to the Decision on Criteria for Determining Conditions for Acquiring Montenegrin Citizenship by Admission is not on the agenda of today's Cabinet session.

This document will be on the agenda when the procedural conditions prescribed by the Rules of Procedure of the Government of Montenegro (Articles 15, 32 and 40) are met, which imply that the document must be approved by the Secretariat for Legislation and the Commission for Political System and then submitted to the Cabinet for consideration.

This document will be presented to the Cabinet in a legal manner, and all proposals that will be in it will be exclusively in the best interest of the citizens of Montenegro.

The key goal of Government's work is the best interests of the citizens.
