Prime Minister's congratulatory message on Passover

Prime Minister Zdravko Krivokapić congratulated President of the Jewish community of Montenegro Nina Ofner Bokan, Chief Rabbi Luciano Moše Prelević and all members of the Jewish community on the Passover.

"On behalf of the Government of Montenegro and in my own capacity, I congratulate you and all members of the Jewish community in Montenegro on the beginning of the oldest Jewish holiday, the Passover.

This great holiday reminds the Jewish people around the world of the liberation from slavery in Egypt, by celebrating the eternal values of freedom, justice and love for their homeland.

I want all members of the Jewish community to recognise Montenegro as a space and system in which they can fully nurture the values of their ancestors and cherish the virtues and ideals of their teachers," the Prime Minister's congratulatory message reads.
