Strengthening economic cooperation between Montenegro and the USA: Visit of American companies

Just three months after the official visit of the Government of Montenegro’s delegation to Washington, which I led, and where I signed the Memorandum of Economic Cooperation between Montenegro and the United States on behalf of our country, we are on the right path to taking another progressive step in this area.

The success and effectiveness of this Memorandum are already evident, as some of the most prestigious American companies have expressed interest in enhancing trade and economic relations with Montenegro. In this regard, these companies will visit our country, where I will officially welcome them on behalf of the Government of Montenegro on Monday, 10 February.

A historic number of American companies visiting Montenegro within the framework of ACEBA will provide an excellent opportunity to deepen our close economic ties. This aligns with the objectives of the Memorandum, which paves the way for concrete developmental and investment cooperation.

I am prouder than ever of signing this Memorandum and institutionalizing our partnership, which will lead to the inflow of American capital into Montenegro—an achievement that both I personally and the Government consider highly significant. Through the exchange of expertise and the engagement of American companies, we will achieve economic growth and progress for the benefit of all our citizens.

We are moving forward decisively towards comprehensive development, together with our proven American allies—now and always!
