Abazović meets with Austrian Ambassador to Montenegro

Deputy Prime Minister Dritan Abazović met today with the Ambassador of Austria to Montenegro Karl Müller. The two officials confirmed the strong friendship between the two countries, stressing the wholehearted support that Austria has provided to the Montenegrin health system in overcoming the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Austrian Ambassador to Montenegro Karl Müller pointed out that his country gives full support to Montenegro's European integration, as it has done to other countries in the Western Balkans, which have become full-fledged members of the EU.

Deputy Prime Minister Abazović emphasised that European integration is Montenegro's priority and that we are actively working on reviving European policy in Montenegro. Abazović said that Montenegro's top priority is to unblock judicial institutions, which is necessary for closing the provisional benchmarks, as a precondition for further progress on our European path.
