Agency for Land Administration and Cartography of the Netherlands in a working visit to the Real Estate Administration

On March 31, 2025 the Director of the Real Estate Administration, Marko Bulatović MSc, met with the representative of the Agency for Land Administration and Cartography of the Netherlands, Mr. Haico van der Vegt, as part of activities related to the continuation of activities to provide professional support to the countries of the Western Balkans.

"I would like to thank the Director of the Real Estate Administration Marko Bulatović and his colleagues for having time to hold the meeting. Support to the Real Estate Administration can be realized in the fields of application of modern information technologies in cadastral and land registration systems including the digitization of cadastral data, the introduction of advanced GIS tools and the development of e-services related to the cadastre," said Haico van der Vegt.

"The Netherlands stands out in the field of protection and preservation of legal security related to land rights, which includes the registration of property rights and other real rights in the cadastre as well as reforms in the field of legislation and administration that enable greater security of land rights. Support to our institution can be in the fields of modernization of the cadastral system, collection and exchange of spatial data and interoperability of the system, as well as a data sharing strategy," said the director of the Real Estate Administration, Marko Bulatović MSc.

Haico van der Vegt stated that cooperation may include support in the implementation of unique developed land and real estate valuation methods, which could be useful for improving the valuation system so that Montenegro could enter real estate and land market valuation in a more modern and accurate way.
