Cabinet establishes Coordination Body for monitoring the "Europe Now" programme
The Montenegrin Cabinet, at today's session, adopted a decision on establishing the Coordination Body for monitoring the "Europe Now" programme. The President of the Coordination Body will be Minister of Economic Development Jakov Milatović, while the Deputy President will be Adviser to the Prime Minister Dejan Abazović.
In addition to the President and Deputy President, the members of the Coordinating Body will be: Janko Odović - State Secretary in the Ministry of Finance and Social Welfare, Branko Krvavac - State Secretary in the Ministry of Finance and Social Welfare, Milena Lipovina Božović - State Secretary in the Ministry of Economic Development, Boris Marić - State Secretary in the Ministry of Justice, Human and Minority Rights, Biljana Peranović - Acting Director General of the Directorate for Tax and Customs System in the Ministry of Finance and Social Welfare, Milena Petričević - Acting Director of the Revenue and Customs Administration, Ilir Harasani- Acting Director of the Directorate for Inspection Affairs, Ana Vujošević - Acting Assistant Director of the Directorate for Inspection Affairs and Head of the Sector for International Cooperation, Svetlana Vukićević - Head of the Department for Electronic Applications in the Revenue and Customs Administration, Ratko Milić - Independent Adviser in the Revenue and Customs Administration, Predrag Nešković - Representative of the Directorate for Inspection Affairs, Ilija Mugoša - Adviser in the Office of the Prime Minister of Montenegro, Jevrosima Pejović - Acting Director General of the Directorate for Labour and Employment in the Ministry of Economic Development, Irena Joksimović - Head of the Directorate for Labour Relations in the Ministry of Economic Development, Filip Lazović - Adviser for Legal Affairs and Social Dialogue in the Montenegrin Employers Federation, Miljan Šestović - Director of the Research and Analysis Sector in the Chamber of Economy of Montenegro, Duško Zarubica - Secretary General of the Federation of Trade Unions of Montenegro, Naida Kašić - Associate in the Ministry of Finance and Social Welfare, as well as representatives of the Union of Free Trade Unions of Montenegro and non-governmental organisations.
The tasks of the Coordination Body will be: monitoring and coordinating activities during the implementation of the "Europe Now" programme, as well as monitoring, in cooperation with the competent authorities and institutions, the elimination of reported irregularities during the implementation of the programme. The Coordination Body shall submit a semi-annual report on the implemented activities to the Government of Montenegro. The Coordination Body will meet as needed, at least once a month.
It was concluded that the Coordination Body may request data, explanations and reports from the competent authorities and institutions on issues related to the Europe Now programme, and, if necessary, engage representatives of other bodies, institutions and organisations. It is also planned, as a possibility, to form smaller operational teams that will monitor the implementation of activities.
The Coordination Body will hold its first meeting tomorrow, starting at 8:00, while the first press conference will be organised at 9:30, in the Press Centre of the Government of Montenegro. Minister of Economic Development Jakov Milatović, as President of the Coordination Body, Adviser to the Prime Minister Dejan Abazović, as Deputy President, and State Secretary in the Ministry of Finance and Social Welfare Branko Krvavac, as a member of the Coordination Body, will speak at the press conference.
