Deputy Prime Minister Gjeloshaj meets with Mayor of Tirana Erion Veliaj

Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Policy Nik Gjeloshaj met today with Mayor of Tirana Erion Veliaj, who is paying an official visit to Montenegro.

Deputy Prime Minister Gjeloshaj warmly welcomed Mayor Veliaj and highlighted the strong relationship between the Montenegrin municipalities and Tirana.

As two friendly countries sharing the same Euro-Atlantic vision, it is essential to enhance cooperation between our municipalities in all relevant spheres, especially in the economy, infrastructure, tourism, and sports, stated Deputy Prime Minister Gjeloshaj.

During the meeting, discussions focused on the potential for launching joint projects and improving cooperation at the regional level.

The meeting concluded with both parties reaffirming the excellent relations between Montenegro and Albania and agreeing to continue collaboration in areas of mutual interest.
