Deputy Prime Minister Momo Koprivica lays wreath at the site of Duško Jovanović’s murder

Clarifying Duško Jovanović’s murder must be a fundamental task of legal institutions, as it is a prerequisite for achieving justice

Deputy Prime Minister for Political System, Justice, and Anti-Corruption Momo Koprivica laid a wreath at the site where Duško Jovanović, the editor-in-chief of DAN and a brave fighter against corruption and crime, was brutally murdered 20 years ago.

The murder of Duško Jovanović is not only an unpunished crime but also a vicious blow by the criminal octopus on the freedom of every individual in Montenegro, stated Koprivica.

It is a significant stain on the reputation of our institutions that the perpetrators and masterminds behind this crime have not yet been identified and brought to justice. Clarifying this crime and identifying its instigators and executors must be a fundamental task of the legal institutions, as it is a prerequisite for achieving justice, concluded Deputy Prime Minister Koprivica.
