DPM Bečić hosts reception for President of the Republic of Bulgaria Rumen Radev

Deputy Prime Minister Aleksa Bečić, in the presence of the Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria, H.E. Stefan Dimitrov, hosted a reception for the President of the Republic of Bulgaria, Rumen Radev, and his spouse, who arrived today on an official visit to Montenegro.

Welcome back to Montenegro, a friendly and partner country, and the next EU member state. We are pleased that your visit coincides with the days when Montenegro has finally fulfilled all interim benchmarks, achieved excellent results in the rule of law, and anticipates receiving a positive Interim Benchmark Assessment Report (IBAR) by the end of June, said Deputy Prime Minister Aleksa Bečić, noting that receiving IBAR would crown a very successful period of enhancing Montenegro's European path witnessed in recent months and steer Montenegro towards finalizing the process.

During his two-day visit to Montenegro, President Radev will meet with President of Montenegro Jakov Milatović, President of the Parliament of Montenegro Andrija Mandić, and Prime Minister of Montenegro Milojko Spajić.
