The French agency for international technical cooperation (Expertise France) is ready for closer collaboration with Montenegro, stated the agency’s Chief Executive Officer Jérémie Pellet during his meeting with Prime Minister Milojko Spajić.

Joint cooperation on numerous projects not only strengthens bilateral relations between France and Montenegro but also provides valuable support in enhancing the capacity of public administration.

During the discussions, it was emphasised that several French experts are already in Montenegro, and there is potential for even greater support in this regard.

Particularly in the areas of European integration, environmental protection, and waste management.

The idea is to accelerate Montenegro’s EU accession process through our presence while also contributing to the country’s economic growth. The government’s clear vision and concrete projects are the right path toward this goal, and strategic efforts will ensure more efficient administration, said Pellet.

The Prime Minister noted that significant progress has been made in bilateral relations, following his meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron.

Work on strategic partnerships remains a priority, and it was highlighted that initial cooperation results have been achieved in the field of defence.

He also reminded that projects in infrastructure, ecology, and healthcare are in the pipeline.

French Ambassador to Montenegro Anne-Marie Maskay also attended the meeting.
