Following today’s events in Parliament and announcements from the opposition, Prime Minister Milojko Spajić has issued a statement.

The Prime Minister clarified on the social media platform "X" that "it is not true that the Montenegrin Citizenship Law will be amended without broad consensus."

Spajić emphasized that the essence of the "Barometer 26" platform is to resolve identity-related issues through the inclusion and support of all societal stakeholders.

Therefore, I invite the opposition to a meeting so we can resolve any doubts, in the same spirit of agreement that led to the successful organization of the census, stated the Prime Minister in his response.
